When I first got back into horses I leased a big black Percheron named Duke. He was awesome, he had the best personality. I miss him, though he is at my friends barn so I still get to see him. Now I own a 14 hand (and still growing I hope pony) lol I still can't get over the size of their hooves, Hunters are soooo tiny compared to Dukes.

Good evening :)

I really like Percherons, yours are beautiful too :)
I am quite excited because I go on a "testride" the day after tomorrow to ride this guy:

He is a Percheron/PRE-"Mix" named/called "Shrek"

I didn't know that! I always thought Percherons to be stockier than she is, though, which is why I think she might be a cross

Your girl looks purebred to me, the guy we got ours from was a breeder with top mares and a stallion and he has smaller ones there. Lenox looks to be a good size :)

Yup, I agree that Lenox looks to be purebred! (: A lot of people think my girl's a cross because she's not that tall and is a bit lighter built than typical. Your girl looks really typey, though.

I dunno... I think Lennox looks like the arabXPercheron we used to have at the barn... her body shape is all Percheron same with the feet, but her face looks a little on the dainty side, but maybe that's just her individuality coming out :)

Don't forget, guys, that Percherons have Arabian in them That's where a lot of people think they got their intelligence and spirit from.
