Please help--looking for Percheron -or shire or Belfium for this family!

Hi!!!
This family is searching for an older draft horse to rescue or adopt--I have 3 boys and a husband who adores the large horses and he has asked me to search and ask folks about them--We are in Oregon--so it would be best if we could find someone close to us--or in WAshington state or Idaho--
Anyhelp would be great!!!
thanks!

Sorry I wish I could help but all I know of is a guy down the street from us has a black percheron stud colt and he is pratically giving it away. But its not even a year old and it in Missouri. I wish you good luck.

There is a rescue in Ontario -- SAD -- Save A Draft -- you can find them on the net if you google them. Maybe they know of someone in your area.

Here is the link to the rescue where I adopted my colt. If you are willing to wait some and get a younger horse, you could end up with a huge draft horse. My colt is 17.3 so far at age 4 1/2. He has been so easy to train, has a wonderful personality. There are lots of horses for sale/adoption. Check out the site. There is a very nice Percheron filly for sale, bound for slaughter in Canada under that section in the Adoption link.

I guess the link doesn't show up but if you click on the asterisk, the website opens up.
