Thanks for all the input everyone.

I am without a doubt goign to only be looking at horses who already already well broke to drive. Having it trained to drive is proof to me the horse has been worked with a lot and has already gone thru a lot of the basics of saddle breaking to. I am definitely putting a big budget into working with a trainer. I have always worked hand in hand with a trainer will the other youngsters when riding kicked in.

I'll look into as many adds as I can and will you all posted. The horse I am looking at, is trained to drive single and double and has been used all across the farm(according to the breeder/owner).

Will keep you posted, will get you to tag along JDI to see what feel you get.
Thanks again for all the input everyone.

They are both gorgeous and it seems that if a horse has been trained to drive and is successful, they must have a good temperment. I've never had a full draft but my draft cross is almost 18 hds, 2000 lbs. The only differences with him, he's calmer, takes things more in stride, hurts more when he steps on you!

One question, do you have a big enough trailer :) to bring them home?
