I finally saw pics of Gypsy. I don't believe she is a purebred Gypsy Horse. She has little or no feather and her feet appear to be very
small, compared to Gypsy Horses. Her body too, making allowances for her probable not good care in recent years, is not a Gypsy Horse body.
However, she could be a Gypsy cross. That also might be in doubt, because of her age and the fact her dam would have had to be a few years older than 20. In those days, there were only a couple of Gypsy Horses in the US but interestingly, were in S. Cal. Could have been bred by someone just wanting to produce colour and who automatically branded all their horses.
She is a pretty old lady and not bad for her age and poor care in the past. She will make a lovely buddy for someone.
