TB/Percheron Cross Registration ??

I am purchasing this girl shortly here & was wondering if she would be eligible to register with the AWS(American Warmblood Society).

I am told she is 50/50! Her sires name is Packer(TB), I will be find out the Dams name from her previous owner shortly.

Hopefully this link will answer some questions for you: Warmbloods | Sport Horses | Dressage Horses

Sounds like you don't need to know her parentage, but you would need to prove her in one of their disciplines before being eligible (if I am reading that right).

While I know you didn't ask opinions on whether to register her or not, personally I don't think it's worth it. I thought alot about registering my Percheron/TB with the AWS and decided it wasn't worth it. Your horse is worth just as much unregistered. AWS doesn't do much for her and it's alot of work.

You can still breed her and show her.
