My mare is currently 7 months in foal, so will need to wait awhile to take photos of her under saddle. Strange we never have.

My mare is actually in foal to a clydesdale stallion named Zues here in australia. Funny I didnt think that many would be called Zues. Zues first season of foals dropped a colt and that horses name is apollo (very original)lol.

LOL! Almost! I use a 2 step mounting block and put that up to a 55 gallon drum, then hop up from there. I gotta get it on video sometime. It's pretty funny.
   You really should! I have enough trouble getting on a 16.2 qh, lol
you're a pansie, I could vault from the ground on my tb and he was just over 16'2 :D

Yes, I use a step-stool or something so I don't pull on his withers (not much there either!) but I can still get up there if I have to on trail!! Just got a 62" english girth!

His gaits (well walk and trot) are sooooo smooth. Haven't really cantered yet except by accident! I'm waiting until he's older and more coordinated :)

I highly recommend PMU horses as long as you know what you are looking for. Some are very good quality draft crosses and others, not so much. I think he was a great deal for $900. I'm doing the training so he's been fairly cheap :)

Danastark-He is a great looking boy! My first mare is a PMU mare and she has been amazing! Great bloodlines, great conformation and the best part is she has an amazing disposition. So what breed is he exactly? Will he get taller or is he fully matured height wise? I wouldn't want to stretch my leg to get up on him...but then again I'm only 5 feet. LOL Don't think that will work out so well.

Solon-Thanks so much, he is simply amazing! I just love the second two pictures of him. He looks so well put together and sleek. Did you train him yourself? Do you always ride bareback?

Cody is supposed to be TB and belgian but draft people have told me he looks more perch or clyde with his height and proportions. I hope he doesn't grow anymore! He's almost 18 hds at this point! I keep telling him he can stop growing now..... He does have some knee action when he walks and trots, not sure if that is draft or just trying to get those big feet forward! Thanks for asking :) We sure enjoy him!
