    For the original question the worst thing about owning a heavy horse, is how much more it hurts when they step on your foot. Do you think there gets to be a point where it just doesn't matter as your foot is already flat? Ha ha Those giant hooves seem to find their way onto ones foot more easily too. OUCH!

    HAHA, I just responded to another thread and was reminiscing of this exact thing!

    OMG at stepping on my toe... That's happened twice to me, once with steel toes and once without (with sneakers). I thought I was going to lose my toe. I was turning her around when she caught my toe, shifted her 2000lbs to that foot and then rotated her body on it....................

    Surprisingly, I only ended up with a bad toe nail which is "almost" done growing out now 10 months later....

    Fun times!
