To be honest, I have always been partial to Clydes, but its actually very easy to sway me to any draft breed. I've seen some absolutely spectacular horses in all breeds, so it would be hard to really choose one.

From conformation to build, to temper, they all have something amazing to give. Probably would be better to base your decision based on each individual horse itself.

Irish Draughts and Norikers, hands down.

I voted for the Shire. Although I have had a lot of experience with seeing the Begians in pulling competitions the Shire as a breed "tugs at my heart" strings for their passing on to their offspring crossed on Thoroughbred mares the heart and stamina to be 3-day Eventers. One in particular Shire stallion owner I know was challenged to enter her Shire in a Dressage competition just to try to prove her wrong that a Draft could pull it off. Indeed, she and her Shire stallion had the highest score for First Level.

I voted brabant cause really, what's better than a huge, bay roan with tons of black feathers? Having said that, I have 3 perch crosses and love them all dearly, lol

I might be biased as well! But they were bred to be calm enough to be handled by kids, have a great attitude about work, and even my stallion is a perfect gentleman on the trail! Mine is a blue roan with a double sided mane. We are asked to stop for pics everywhere we go! I have pics of him on Big Blue Belgian
