Will my horse turn white?

Ok so I think I have a grey and white paint. He is mostly white with little random blotches. I have two questions and hopefully you guys will be able to help me answer them!
Question one- Is he grey or blue? I thought he was grey until I washed him. When he is wet the white area around his spots show the color underneath but it looks blue not grey. Does that mean he is blue?
Question 2- If he is grey, will he eventually turn all white?

If you know please tell me! Thanks in advance!

Calm down!

He is probably grey.. my grey looks 'blue' when wet, too. He will probably stay this way, if I am not mistaken.

Well I just hate white because you can see everything and he tends to lay in his pee every night so I want to be able to know and get him more use to baths every week or so and grooming nightly.
Oh and the reason I think he will turn white is because his old owners keep telling me how he is getting lighter.

The majority of greys get whiter as they age.....
