I've been there!

Clydesdales are my favourites, and I've never met a bad one!

I just love everything about the big monsters - and they give the best cuddles! ;)

Cheers,

Where do I even start? I love everything about drafts and I would trade my Shetland for another, I already own 3 Shires.

I love how my girl, when she gets all excited (which she rarely does) and decides to run and buck around the pasture (though, she only does for a min or two max) but, when she does she bolts full steam you can hear her feet pounding on the dirt doing leaps and bucks in the air with all four feet off of the ground and lets out a giant 90 decibel fart... haha that's my favorite thing so far, we were rolling on the ground laughing when she did that!

They are the most comfortable mount when bareback. So easy to keep your balance, better than a skinnier breed.

Everything! But my very favorite is how they make me feel small! I'm 5'9 and haven't ever been a small person, so it's a really cool feeling for me.

I met a 3 year old Belgian gelding, and he started the draft horse craze for me. He was so kind, and gentle in his young age. It blew my mind. And so massive, but caring. I think that's what makes me love them so much!

While I do love everything about big horses, this has to be the best thing about them:

Cheers,

Feeling the herd thundering down through the woods from the top pasture to the house.

Their size. There is nothing better than the size and gentleness of most drafts. They are outstanding.
