Advice taken and thankyou :)

Hi guys,

Just thought I woud let you know after recently when you suggested I get a new instructor specifically for dressage.

I had a lesson with a lady who has ridden and trained grand prix dressage, she qualified for the olympics but was pregnant so had to decline.

The lesson was amazing!, she had me and curly collected with back rounded and sitting on her hindquaters/using the properly for 2-3 strides at a time.

She also gave us lots of tips about getting her canter up to scratch, by the time we were finished she was really 'jumping' into her transitions not falling into them!.

That may not sound like much but she has never done that before.

It was the best lesson I have ever had, she only takes on select student but had agreed to take me on once a fortnight. Im so excited and looking forward to working with her more.

She had a headset that I wore and she wore so that over the wind etc we could still hear every word each other said!

The sad thing is that Curly has gotten unwell, I spoke to her on the phone and she suggested a visit to the GV equine hospital so we may be doing that this afternoon :(

So I would like to say thankyou for suggesting it!

I'm happy to hear that you have found a nice dressage instructor and that you had a wonderful first lesson with Curly.

I hope that Curly feels better soon.
