Default AMAZING lesson!!!!!!

Ok so Geof and I have private dressage lessons with my trainer on mondays. And yesterdays was so great! We were working on getting me straight and blanced in my seat, and not dropping my hands in the transitions, halting with my seat more, and giving the correct signals to ask for the canter transition. She was having me hold my thumbs together so I balanced more through my seat, and I felt an imediate reaction in Geof! he came up, was more springy and listened to me better. And once we paired that with the canter transitions and more support through those and such, it was AMAZING! The difference in him being on his haunches, lifted through the ribcage and being nice and balanced is SO different and I felt ontop of the world! I just wanted to share with all of you! Thanks for reading..... lolz!

Love the light bulb moments! Sounds like you found a great instructor. Those are hard to come by.

No, it was raining, so the arenas were mush, so we rode out in the feild(which suprising holds up nicly in we weather) and it's to far for my camera to see :(. Those moments when you work SO hard, but then you get EXACTLY what you want, you feel like you can conqure the world!

Congrats on a great lesson! That's why I like Private Lessons, you get so much more out of the instruction when the Coach is focused on you only, instead of spreading their attention to other riders at the same time.

Good for you! Keep up the good work.
