There is probably a list of officials on the USDF site, contact a steward in your area and ask them about your options.
Yeah, I know it's definitely rough being vegan in the horse world in general. If I'm not stuggling to find vegan-friendly alternatives to leather and wool, I'm dealing with people's lovely opinions on my life. But that's the price one must pay =P
Thankfully, though, since I would only really ever show in the lowest of the low levels, I'm hoping to be able to get by okay, since a lot of people in lower levels buy cheaper alternatives and synthetics seem more acceptable in general.

Oh wow, I hadn't ever seen either of those. Is there any chance you might know a place I could buy them? I can't seem to find them anywhere..I looked at Dover, SLT, Amazon, and Ebay with no luck =(

What size do you wear? I have a pair of synthetic field boots for sale.

Too bad. They're an 8 I think. What you could try is searching for "like leather" boots instead of synthetic. That's what mine are called. It's the same thing, just worded differently, so you might get better results if you look for that.

Even if allowed, rubber would be very hot in California. I suggest field boots - more for jumping but perfectly acceptable in dressage - especially at levels up to second level.

There is a used tack store in Pleasanton CA that has great deals on things ... you can try calling and seeing if they have anything. It's called Happy Trails.

I also got a pair of leather like boots at General Feed and Seed in Santa Cruz when i was growing up ..

Thanks so much guys =D I think I've found some field boots that will work well. I've been struggling to find a 10 slim because it seems that most people with such large feet also have larger legs =p but I think these will work out well so I put in an order. They won't be in stock until December, but I can wait until then.

ooh I love General Feed! unfortunately when I checked they didn't have anything like this though, it seemed that they just mostly had Ariat. I haven't heard of Happy Trails though, I'll have to remember that one

try Happy Trails, I can give you their number if you want. If they don't have what you want they can keep an eye out for them and then call you when they get something :)
