Just wondering what that will do. It's already pretty nicely conditioned and loosey goosey.

If you haven't bo't it don't. It is asian made and urine tanned. The surface promptly develops cracks no matter how much you oil or condition it. It's just not our good North American tanned leather which is veg. Tanned.

I have several of these bridles and used them over the years with no problem, no cracking etc. The one I am currently using is about 10 years old and still looks new. I don't care if they are urine tanned because back in the day, that is how leather was tanned ha ha.

That sounds quite gross I have to say. How do you do urine tan?

Cinny, as long as the bridle works for you and you like it - it all that matters. BTW I always clean and condition the new bridle (so it'd be more nice and supple), but it's just me.
