Does anyone have any feedback on the Bates Caprilli dressage saddle?

I had a ride in a Bates Caprilli Dressage saddle today. I think that I am buying it. It is an older model but is sooooo nice and comfy. Just one thing, The flaps come down about halfway down my shin. Is this right? I will get some photos tomorrow of it.

Has anyone owned or own a Bates Caprilli? What did you think of it and was it a good saddle?

Thanks

I like older models, but new dressage saddle by Bates is just something - SO huge blocks.

I was thinking of getting the one with the counterblocks in it. But I like this one better. I can show in this one and it will still look good.
