He is HUGE. Enrique is 17.2hh, and Blue has a good 2-3 inches on him. Blue has been renamed to Selah though now since he was sold :P

OH! This is exciting, just for Dressage Divas! I hope I quilify...
Well right now im just working on getting Gypsy to move forward with more power coming from behind. Im not to worried about her being on the bit right now, I just want good flowing movement, then I will ad in her head. But with me I need to find the feel of more power coming from behind then just rushyness. Yup that's what were doing right now OH and transitions oh she's got a GREAT transition coming down from the trot to walk she doesnt miss a beat, which is big for her she can be clumbsy at times. Now that's exciting!

I think he grew, honestly, because I never thought he was that big until he came back. He completely whited out too. Sad, because he was such a gorgeous steel grey. And now he's really flea bitten. But still really flashy undersaddle!

Seewww I have my entire training plan laid out until my first show, mwahahaha. I can tell pon is getting fitter because his trot is getting better, even without me asking for collection he trucks along in a fairly collected trot. Now we must fix the canter.
And I've decided that I'm defs going to ride in the Dressage Seat Equitation classes and go for the championship which is a medal, or something?? I dunno I'm pushing for them to get jackets too because I need a new warmup jacket :P
We'll see whether or not I'll do the second level but it's slowly coming... We just need to really polish the lateral work and canter and I need to get my legs STRONGER gahh all the time with the stronger legs! I'm going to bring out my jumping saddle and do some no stirrup jumping over tiny crossrails soon. That is such a butt/abs/thigh buster.
And now that my saddle fits me better my life is a bajillion times easier, yay! I just need to bring out the WD-40 to fix my squeeky stirrups...

AND my mom's horse is starting to look fab-er. I don't know if she's going to take lessons, or if she's just going to keep putting up with me. I'm probably going to ride her horse on Sat. For a tune-up because I honestly think that as long as someone is keeping that horse's front end up every once in a while, he's actually going to canter normally for her. Now I just need to put bright pink tape on her reins so she stops letting them get so long!

And some time this month I'm doing "the clean up" of both of them. Row is disgusting and I want to clip his legs sooooo bad! And my mom's horse has gone from brown and white to all brown and desperately needs his mane roached :P

What happens if a guy who is interested in Dressage wants to be in the club?

Would he be a Diva too? LOL! Whats the male form of Diva?

I'm currently looking for some local Dressage Tests in the area to see what I can bring my horses to. I've gotten out of the testing over the years, and I want to get back into it. I love watching and participating <3 South Carolina isn't exactly brimming with Dressage Riders though! Lots of Steeple Chasers and Hunters though!

    Isn't Divo some opera group???
    Hmmm...

Skippy if you are really desperate for some dressage shows, get your local area dressage group together to organize a schooling show series!

USDF | Clubs | Group Membership Organizations (GMOs)
You're in Region 3.. there are actually quite a few dressage shows listed for SC on USDF's website, at least more than we have in here!
