Dressage at Olympia

For those watching (BBC red button and Eurosport) how nice is it to see Dressage back on the TV.

Olympia for those that don't know is the Royal london international show. The annual christmas show. It is also a World cup round.

Congrats to Charlotte DuJardin yesterday for setting a new world record for a GP test and be over 12% higher than Edward Gal in 2nd place.

For those unable to watch it is the Kur tonight and I will attempt to keep you updated

Suprisingly Isabell werths horse looked quite stiff and lost its rhythm several times.

Edward Gal's horse doesnt seem to be coping with the atmosphere, keeps exploding at inopportune moments very very tense

ETA he seems to have calmed it down now, but initialy every time he collected for passage or piaffe the horse looked like it was going up, then ended in canter.

Shakey start for Charlotte

A few mistakes creeping in from Charlotte. Possibly something to do with charlotte having bronchitis or maybe the atmosphere and pressure getting to them

I realy would not like to try and sit that swedish horses trot. It is absolutly enormous!

Charlott has 87.975% not quite a PB and certainly not a WR but 7.9% ahead of Isabell

So sorry I missed watching with you, Faye. We should try to plan the next time for a bunch of us to be on the board to ogle and drool and critique together!
