    Imo there is "doing third level" and riding third level. One is going through a pattern and earning a whopping 50% and the other is showing potential for a higher level ride with true collection and gait quality involved in the whole shebang. Some of us are only satisfied with the latter. Sorry if you think it makes me stuck up and yes I have ridden "alternative" breeds in dressage and still do.

    Eta if you don't like warmbloods imported or descended from Europe or the people that own them then you better not vote Romney, he has like 12.

    I have said this before and I will say it again. I am glade that you are not my first exposure to what a Dressage person is.

    Owning a warmblood doesn't make one a snob. Deriding a horse based on breeding and poor photos and sneering at people who don't score in the 70's is.

    This attitude gives the sport/art I love a bad name.

    (So says the owner of 2 "EUROPEAN WARMBLOODS", one a GP horse, both sadly deceased )
