I used to love playing that game when I was younger.

Cross country was my favourite and I would always make my own or pick an Australian rider (i'm Australian). It was pretty cool.

It doesn't work on new computers though I find, so be careful about buying it.

Thanks Alli!
I was in a best buy store yesterday to purchase a camcorder and inquired about the game. They did not have it, but I decided to wait since i know it will distract me from college! he he...
I will file that info away for when the semester is over!

my computer is new and it works fine.I think it might be because I got the 3 games in one and that game is one of them.

Never done it, though I'd liked too. Sounds awesome!

Lol, I use the game equestraid to help memorize my dressage tests. Instead of following the route in the practice mood I just ignore it and ride out the test with the computer horse.

Me too! It's a shame the company "abandoned" it

I kept my old Win98 computer just so I could keep playing the game! I got very good at the Dressage and was getting phenomenally low scores even at Veteran level using the "First Person" camera option (where you can see the horse's head in front of you)

I was always hopeless at the cross country section!

Did anyone else ever have a horse fall in the showjumping section?! I did a few times ... scary graphic!

I'll have to dig it out and have a go at it again! I'll need to customise a horse that looks like my new horse!

I had that game but it never worked properly on my computer. In the cross country I used to be able to gallop through the sidelines and run for ever and ever through all the background layers. My horses were also magic and could jump up into the air and fly over all the jumps.

I really wish it had worked properly.

I had a similar problem, I emailed them about it and they told me to go through the options thing and change the default key strokes to something else - it worked!! Might work for you too!
