Fabulous interview with Carl Hester

I just love this man's way of training and riding, allowing even his top Grand Prix horses to live out in the paddock much of their life, cross training, keeping them mentally sound. Taking the time to train the horse with basics first, no rushing. This is how dressage training should be, in my opinion.

Can't open this as I'm in work, but will check it out when I get home.
Carl Hester... -dreams- We used to have a mare on our old yard that was trained by him.. Gunfire... stunning, well mannered talented mare...
I really like the way he works, and the fact he tells everyone he learnt to ride on donkeys haha!

Loved this, read it over lunch break... I swear I read in a Your Horse magazine he learnt to ride on donkeys ;D

He's done really well for himself though!! He can train Duffy up and return her when he's ready lol!
