Just had to post this. Though I think this video needs no introduction and speaks loud and clear for itself, I will give you a short one.
What I see here is an incredible rider on a relaxed, happy, very well moving horse. They are doing what I presume to be a warmup, activities that any rider can do regardless of experience. This woman has a seat and hands that many of us can only dream of.
I believe this is a fantastic example of what all dressage should aim to accomplish.

Thanks for posting that. It is really lovely to watch. That horse was invited to stretch continuously and looked very happy in his work. I sure wish my warmup looked like that!! It takes me 40 minutes to get to where I can even ask for that type of movement.

Recently found out the rider is Uta Gräf. The horse is the stallion Damon Jerome H, a 5 year old Rhinelander.

Eurodressage wrote an excellent feature on her recently.

Beautiful! Thanks for posting it! It is nice that she doesnt have him all cranked back like a lot of modern dressage riders would and she lets him stretch his neck :)

Hey, I just saw this over on HGS! I am glad you posted it over here.

I love how she rides Seat Into Legs Into Hands - she is so quiet and soft with her hands, it is amazing! She is a great example of a rider who rides seat first, legs second and hands lastly.

This is a video that people should look at and watch studiously and say "Oooooh....that's how the rider is supposed to do it" - especially those who like to ride HANDS first, getting that fake headset.

This is a great video, and thanks for posting!!! I am glad you shared it over here :)
