FEI has approved Sprenger WH??? is it true???

I have been hearing that the FEI has approved the Springer WH bits. Has anybody else heard this? I'm just curious because my goal is to keep Cin in approved bits so there is no worry when I do go to show him. Many people said he needs a roller bit however to get him to relax more in the mouth as he has some bit anxiety still and he is VERY VERY VERY green. The Springer WH DOES have a small roller so I was sure it isn't approved, but now I'm hearing it is. If it is, I am going to put him in that instead of the KK I was going to get him. All I can find online are old FEI rules, I can't find anything that states this bit is approved.

I thought about getting a roller bit, they are really good for a horse that fiddles and aids salivation. I eventually bought a french link loose ring snaffle made from sweet iron which oxidises and tastes nice. It really helps salivation too. I know this bit is dressage approved (in the UK).

Unless you are riding in an FEI sanctioned competition, IE a CDI, it does not matter if the FEI has approved the bit. I am assuming you will not be showing the horse in any CDIs, so you will need to check with your NF to see if it is legal. In Canada and the US, they are legal as of 2010 rules.

I want to eventually go to the lower levels and my trainer is big on all her students using FEI approved bits only so there is some incentive to keeping everything FEI. Now if we don't get there, no biggy but if we do in the next few years or five or more...then we wont' have to worry about getting him used to another bit....he already has bitting issues as it is lol. All he wants to do is grit his teeth and clench his jaw on just about anything I have tried, even with my trainers Sprenger KK.

If you make it to a CDI, you're going to have to change bits anyways. Unless you are riding in a young horse test or FEI childrens or ponies because in every other test you need a double bridle. So the point is moot, use your NFs rules and you will be fine.
