100% agree. ANY good trainer starts with the solid basics, it doesn't depend on discipline. In my
personal experience (and that may not be true for everyone) dressage trainers were much more effective in putting the basics on greenies than eventing instructors.
With that being said I have no idea about Wayne Quarles as I've never watched him working with the horse. Very well may be he's absolutely fantastic.
