Hi,
So dressage is definitely not my thing, but I have to do it this year for 4-H, and I need some help understanding my pattern, anything would be appreciated. It's this one: http://www.cadora.ca/Tests/TRAININGTESTC.pdf
I don't understand numbers 4 and 7, how do you start a 15 m half circle at A, and end up at H? Please help!
WOW!!!! that isn't right! did u get that off an official site?? if not look for the official site....looks like a typo, if it's right, ask a coach to ride u through it
Yep definitely ask the event organiser or where ever you got the test from, to clarify that for you, because it's certainly not right, unless they want you to go across the diagonal in which case that should be stated on the test.
yes, it's off the official site, I'll ask my aunt (who keeps my pony for me and used to show) I don't have to show for 2 weeks so I'll straighten it out at some point. Thanks so much!
#4 It's a weird loop - Trotting from K towards A thru corner to F then across the diagnol to H. Follow this link and look at movement #12 to see pink and blue lines showing where the horse should be in this movement. http://www.dressage.net.au/natestdiagrams/natrain2leg.pdf
#5 when you get to H keep right and pickup canter before you get to C, 20 meter circle at C.
#6 Same as # 4 but in opposite direction - F to K (past A) See movement #3 at above link.
