I remember the post (not on this forum though) and the video with icelandic horse doing I believe 2nd level. Horse looked absolutely lovely. I may try to find it if I'll have time.

Thanks Kitten_Val,
We are having a discussion in our local Icelandic group about how far can Icelandics go in dressage. We want to encourage more Icelandic riders to take some dressage lessons, along with gait training. Being a better rider, knowing how to use the aids, can really help with trail safety.

Hello All,
My instructor rode my Icelandic horse Blessi in his second dresssage show. Once again, he took blue ribbons in both classes Intro Level B and Training Test 1. He was competing against some warmbloods, Arabs, and other breeds.

We are just amazed at how well he is doing and that the judges are appreciating his gaits. You will note that he starts tolting at one point, for which the judge marked down.
