*sigh*...oh to be able to ride like that!

(completely unhelpful and not what you're looking for I'm sure Spyder, but it is what I thought when watching )

I'm impressed. Very talented horse and rider!

ETA: Is she bitless?

That is amazing. A friend of mine can ride like that, but only with a saddle. Lol

I thought it was very impressive. Bitless, bareback, the horse was relaxed and looked to be actually using his rear. Very nice.

I, too, wish I could ride like that!

I read somewhere that they are trying to show bitless. They are having difficulties trying to get past the bit requirements. Let me see if I can find the article....

EDIT : Okay so they didn't compete, but did a Demo at Dressage Forum.

There is also a close look at the bridle used.

Want to know the story? From The Start? It is a work in progress.
The $25 horse I didn't want.

Yup.

The ride would not be up to International standards but it does go to show you it can be done.

Fascinating bitless bridle! It almost looks like just a cavesson with reins.

It is.

Just a regular bridle with a regular cavesson nose band.

Basically the horse is ridden from the seat/legs.
