Looking for Dressage Schooling Shows near Toledo, OH

I am now leasing a mare near Toledo, and am having a LOT of trouble finding anything other than hunter shows! I am looking for mini trials and dressage schooling shows in particular, does anyone know of somewhere I just cannot find??

Thanks in advance!!

Do you belong to USDF? Your local dressage club? Those two should give you a fair amount of info. Except for the cost, there is no reason not to do a recognized show.

^Potential size and competition? Cost (like you stated) is another big one... As is required turnout.

Sorry I can't help out, OP. I'm not currently OH! D:

Because cost was a major factor in the past, I had never considered going to recognized shows... now that I do have a show budget, however, I can definitely look into some recognized shows! I can't believe I hadn't thought of that, thank you!

As long as your turnout falls within the color range, and is neat, it is fine. And, really, you are only competing against yourself, and the ideal in the judge's mind, so the rest of "them" do NOT matter!

PLUS, even if it is a HUGE show, you ACT like you are having fun, so your horse will have fun, and everyone will want to be in YOUR barn!!
