Looking for saddle fitters Schleese

I purchased 2 Schleese saddles with the thought of keeping the one that fits me and my horse best and selling the other, I have been waiting for a fitter for over 6 months to come to the midwest. It sounds like this brand may not be able to be serviced in a reasonable amount of time in my area. I am thinking it might be time to switch to a brand that I can get serviced easier but really want the adjustable tree, (not just the gullet)
Are there other brands that are fully adjustable? I did an online search but not much came up. I know the County Rep comes to my area twice month so I may have to go that route if I can't get my Schleese fitted or find something else

If you are purchasing through your area rep the company will actually let you try a bunch of saddles and ship them back and forth. They will also send you a kit and instructions on how to take pictures and a video to send to them that they can suggest the best saddle and fit it to your horse before shipping. Although the company usually only travels to different areas once a year, they are exceptional to deal with and are very good at fitting saddles if you take the measurements and the video just how they say to.
I had nothing but good experiences with schleese, I only sold mine because I prefer an older style saddle with no air and a solid tree.
Good luck!

I already have the saddles that I need fitted. If I buy new it will be from someone that comes to my area so I can get it adjusted if needed. I was told the Schleese rep comes to my area spring and fall but they have not been here yet??

Have you contacted schleese directly? They send regular mailouts on when they are coming, and often times will come sooner if they are contacted by more people. If you haven't contacted them then they don't know the demand.
With your saddles you can still send them photos, measurements and video of your horses back and then these model numbers of both saddles and they can look to see what they think will be the best fit and get you to ship that saddle.

The company is really good to deal with and has really experienced people on their team if you just contact them.

I have called and emailed them several times and they said the lady that comes to my area sets her own schedule. Part of the appeal would be to have it personally fitted so I am hoping some other fitter could do it. County comes to my area twice a month but not sure if they do adjustable trees. I have an email in to them

Black Country can be customized. Too bad you are not in my area - we have several fitters here so I could recommend one.

If you select the right model the Verhan saddles are adjustable - the tree can be adjusted. (The least expensive model - the Hanover - does NOT have an adjustable tree.) The nice thing is that although these saddle are pricey they can be adjusted for the life of the saddle to fit any horse.

BUT it means (since you're not in the general Florida where the local rep is) that you would need to make wither tracings and send them to the dealer (Verhan.com) along with the saddle. The first time you'd need to send the wither tracing to him so he could send you the right sized saddle and adjust it ahead of time to fit the horse. Afterwards when saddle needs adjusting (tree) you'd have to Fedex the saddle to him and have him adjust it. Anyone local (if they know what they're doing) can adjust the flocking, since it's wool.

I own two Odyssey saddles - one for each horse. The older saddle was readjusted to fit my older mare when I purchased the newer one. The newer saddle fit my mare perfectly - fitter came to barn and measured, then gave measurements to saddle maker in Europe. When fitter brought saddle back to check out if it needed any adjustments he found it fit perfectly the first time.

Love the saddles. Comfortable and place the rider into a very proper dressage position.

Dressage is for Trainers!
