Replay of Ms Foy's talk on Wed. The last few minutes are when she talked about the new Rider Tests' purpose, format, etc.
Webinar: “Ask the Author” with Janet Foy on Dressage For The Not-So-Perfect Horse | EquiSearch

Just sat and watched/listened to this and got some great insight and thought I would share!

Where I live, small Vashon island and very tight knit horse community and we are going to be all getting together at our community horse park and putting up our dressage arena in our covered arena and having videos taken of us to send into Janet Foy to critique and give useful feedback and send it backup us!
I'm very much looking forward to this!

After a couple weeks of input, ideas and great suggestions for Ollie and I I have done what you will hear her say more then once in this webinar, is to change things up, try different things to see what works best for the horse! Today I did just that, I went out with high hopes but low expectations, put on a brave face and threw his tack on and got on and it was the best ride by far iv had all month, probably in the past two months!! Just a easy relaxed longer rein and bingo relaxed, tons of blowing and snorting and was not in the forehand and not braced but was reaching down and I encouraged it with leg and my hips!
On a high with how great our 30 min ride was!
