New Tests?!

Does anyone know what the new tests for this year are? I'm so excited to ride differn't tests!

Supposedly we can post at 1st level. That would be so cool. Hope it's true.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

Ooh, yey! I don't see the word "sitting" in the 1st level tests. Guess it's true. My horse had recently started doing lengthenings at the trot, but I just can't sit a TB's trot. Even when collected, it's painful!

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

I have a question about stretchy circles. How much stretch are we talking about? Do the judges just look for long and low, or just enough stretch to where the horse reaches into the bit? My horses stretches equally forward and down. Hopefully that's correct.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

If you look at the USDF rule book, there are directives for every movement ;)



Apparently in the next Horse and Hound there is an article about judging reform.
