    No place to ride!

I have no place to ride where I live. I can use a small part of the neighbours paddock but it is quite small, the ground is uneven and its rocky (small rocks) I've tried to remove most of them, and when I see more I pick them up but its come to the point where he's not confident in the footing. His strides become shorter and he treads carefully in places. I went to a dressage clinic about two weeks ago and rode in their sand arena and it was so good!
I can't float him regularly to use the arenas in town because he doesnt float well in straight loads, and also due to time/fuel cost issues as it would be my parents towing him as I don't have my full license.
What can I do? There isnt really anything I can do is there? Its really holding us back though..

Is there any place to trail ride? That is better than nothing... is there a place you can ride to that would provide a more open area to work?

Is boarding an option for you? If so, most facilities have a variety of riding areas (indoor, outdoor, etc). The advantage of that may outweigh the disadvantage of not having him right there with you at home.

Yes we do have lots of trails that I use every week, but nothing suitable for flatwork.
Boarding doesnt seem to be as common in Australia, and there are none around here, for hours.
I guess i'll just have to wait untill next year when im hoping to move.
