Terrible start for Australia in the showjumping, eliminated for refusals.

Yikes! Poor Lisen Fredericson! Her horse did not want to be there.

Yay Reed! Just 1 time penalty. I loved how she patted her horse right before her round started. It was a "its you and me together" moment.

Well Aussies, how pitiful. Dead last in the dressage (bar Canada after their elimination). We're all sitting at home rolling our eyes sending 'told you so' vibes to EA.

However, at least we're doing very well in the showjumping sitting currently at equal first. Hopefully we'll slightly redeem our pitiful equestrian performances in the SJing

Oh no, that's terrible. We had it coming however. Lovely Chanel 9 not showing the dressage, though it sounds they had good reason why. Lets hope we keep up the good effort in jumping!

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky

I saw a huge pet peeve of mine while watching the show jumping. And that is when the horse refuses so the rider hits them with their crop. I just want to go up there, smack the rider and see how they like it :/

But congratulations to those who have competed successfully and safely thus far. And I can't wait until Thursday for the freestyles!
