Passier Grand Gilbert Dressage Saddle?

I am still searching for the right saddle. I found a used Passier Grand Gilbert Dressage Saddle for $1300, and they offer a 7 day trial period. I was thinking about giving this a shot. What do you think of this saddle? I am having a hard time finding a saddle that fits both me and my shark fin TB.

My trainer has several of these and I LOVVVVVEEE them. As soon as I save the money I plan to get one! They are super comfy and seem to fit a wide range of horses! I have used hers on everything from a bony Arab, andalusian, friesian, dutch warmblood, etc. I would definitely reccomend it!

GGs are very nice if they fit you and your horse. In the trial period, try to get a saddle fitter out to look at the saddle. Before you ask for the trial period, try to get a feel for if it will fit your horse (ie is he a "narrow" "medium" or "wide" tree and does the saddle match?). If it sounds like it could fit, try it!

Passiers have an adjustable tree. I love my Grand Gilbert, but my horse loves my Theo Sommer ;)

I absolutely love Passier saddles because they seem to offer the best feel of the horse of any dressage saddle I have sat in. They also have narrower twists, and being that I am kind of a chunk, I like a narrow twist.
As for the GG, the flap was too long for me in all that I ever tried. They are very desireable saddles and usually can be resold easily.
