I like the Wintec 500 series. I DON'T like the ones with that weird felty material...it is "grabby" on my legs. I have a 500 series CC saddle...and love it! They seem to fit QH really well (I think your guys a QH?)...and the other saddles did not.

By the way...here comes the tack...I told you it was a slippery slope.

I know! I'm doomed! A dressage clinician came to our barn yesterday and I sat in on the class. After I purchase the saddle, I think I am going to sign up for her class the next time she comes up.

I am sliding down that slippery slope so fast, I don't know which way is up!

Thanks for the review on the saddle. I am used to an all-leather saddle with no grippy anything on it, so that's interesting. And yes, my guy is a Quarter Horse, so that's great to know!

Well...I actually tried a Stubben and a used Prestige on my QH guy that made him sore. Found a $300 Wintec and it fit perfect! Go figure right.

Foal
I would suggest getting a riding instructer that has ridden dressage for a long while

I personally thought that the custom is a nice dressage saddle I have been riding in it for years and it is great
