RIP San Jose :(

One of our rising star dressage stallions in Australia, has just been put to sleep following complications of colic surgery. San Jose is by the famous dressage stallion, Sandro Hit and was ridden by Matthew Dowsley.

Poor Matthew has had a hard run, his amazing international grand prix mount, Cinderella was put to sleep only a couple of years ago after an inoperable cancer. And now his new hit, San Jose. This horse was unbelievable to watch, so relaxed, so loose, yet with so much electricity in his performances. Such a young and terribly promising stallion, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him and by the Australian dressage breeding community.

Oh wow, that epic sucks! Poor Matthew =/
San Jose was a lovely horse (so was Cinderella).

...Every rider has that one horse that changes everything about them...
