^It's still rather cute ;) I won't tease you too much, I wear sleeveless lycra bodysuits under my western jackets...they're also just for convenience.

Up here they are de rigueur during the winter we wear them over thermals, and lots of layers, I have ridden a test when it was -20*C outside, and colder inside.

GH, can you ride "western" dressage with the shanked bit? Or bit rules are exactly the same as with traditional dressage and only the saddle is different?

Our club rules allow only the same choices of bit as English riders use. I don't know about Western dressage elsewhere.
