Here are my dressage ponies:
The first is my little Arab gelding Rebel who is 22 and semi retired after this show season. Hes been my show pony for 4 years
Bigger picture on top is my Paint mare Lakota, I just started her this Spring because we thought she was 4 turns out shes actually 6 ;-) Shes gonna be my event horse in years to come.
Bottom picture is my 7 year old Paint gelding Tee (isn't me riding, its my instructor) Hes my up and coming dressage horse. I plan on bringing him to the Lendon Gray Youth Dressage Festival in NY this year!
hey everyone
here is my horse Zulu. He is 1/2 lusitano and 1/2 hanovarian reg-with the IALHA. He will be 6 in 2012
I pulled him from the pasture in March 2011 at my ranch where I board. He was owned by a lady who didnt ride him. Since I was selling my tb mare Candi I asked this gal if I could work with Zulu. She agreed.
In August I purchased him.
He had been broke but was very green. I couldnt even pick his feet up without him being kicky. He was very pushy and ill-mannered.
Now he clips, ties, bathes, loads, and is schooling 2nd level. He is totally docile and willing to please you anytime. He is a total love....nickeres when he hears my car or my voice!
We were in two shows in 2011. July and in August at training level.
We are now schooling 2nd and some 3rd level movements and will show 2012 at 1st level.
We did well with scores in the 60's
Since I am the designated show photographer it is hard to get pics of me so I was pleased to have my friends take these!
The last photo is my favorite. It is from the warm up arena
Thanks Spyder,
One of the gals that takes my picture just does me and I trade her photos for mine. She actually is a dog photographer. Not professionally but she works for the local human society and does all the photos of the dogs. Her photos are beautiful. The other gal who photographs me is getting better and better. I just put the camera on the correct settings and tell her to shoot away.
Maybe sometime down the road I will be able to afford to have an assistant, but I make a meager amount so it isnt feasable at this point.

Me and Relana my Andalusian cross. Sorry the pictures aren't that good!
And this is Victress. She isn't mine but she is currently my main project and show horse. We will be showing 4th level and possibly Prix St. George this summer! She is a Lipp/TB cross.
Nice pics! I love Andalusians. I was very lucky to ride one (beginner friend of mine managed to buy it from the cheap horse dealer  ) and it had awesome gaits.
Here is my dressage horse, well in potential. There are a lot of people who don't think he can make it, there are people who don't think I can make it, but hey that's OK, with such low expectations of us, there is no pressure:lol:
Well they're not great, but here's Mudpie's sale pictures... I actually took them xD
And here's our first dressage test ever! Please ignore the fact that he's behind the bit, our reins are too long, I'm holding the dressage whip wrong, etc. It was a long time ago, a'ight?! xD
Primo hasn't gotten the memo yet, but we're primarily spending this season doing dressage. Need to get it caught up to the jumping so we can actually win at Novice before moving on. Having a dressage saddle has really helped us move forward.
Here's my little dressage mare! We're going to attempt a show early this season and just do the Intro tests and maybe a Training. We're ready training-wise for Training Level and maybe even First but I haven't shown with her yet so we'll see how it goes.
