I haven't ridden bareback in years muahahahaha I reckon I could with him though LOL

However he sweats after a warm up, poor fella.
I walked him for a good 10 minutes, then rode him t/w/c/t for 20... and he had white lather under his bridle LOL that is how unfit he is!

I'm so excited for you!! I like him, and you're comfortable on him which is a huge plus :)

Even if he's a chubster, if you feel confident and he does exactly what you ask.. he's going to be a niiice ride.

It's like Sky.. I walk, trot, and cantered him (scared of the actual cantering) even took him on trails with 2 green horses and one barn sour horse (horrid idea but it worked!) and I trusted him to keep me safe. He's the biggest horse I've ridden and we just click. It makes no sense but I ride best on him :)

I hope the PPE goes well! :)

He is really lovely, bit of a long body but you're a good enough rider to shorted then frame as he gets stronger, and he's got such beautiful freedom of paces. I love to see a horse that just goes forward freely.
Stunning open shoulder, lovely hock action, great mechanics behind. I don't see the collected work being an issue with him at all. He's actually got quite a passagey trot, once fitter and stronger I think you'll find that he'll naturally want to lower behind without too much effort from you.
Who gives two hoots that he's a bit strung out and hollow at the moment - he hasn't done a hell of a lot and that's the easy bit anyway, you'll have him into the bridle within a couple of rides judging by how beautifully he comes off the leg.

I've got my fingers crossed for you that he vets out clear!!

OMG! Like...Oh. My. GOSH! I Love him!

Sophie, He's fantastic! What a freaking trot that boy has!

I actually think he's very handsome. I *hope* he's the one for you!

It really doesn't matter if everyone else hates him, if you get on a horse and never want to get off you have found the one...and blow the rest of us.

In this case though, I was sold when I saw the trot work on the first video, just beautiful, and you can see how he came together with just a little ask, and he is fat and unfit...

Crossing fingers for the PPE, I think this boy ROCKS

He is an incredibly handsome boy! I personally think he is a beautiful mover, fluid but with a bit of a spring in his step.

I hope everything works out for you! He is an absolute dreamboat. :)
