Super Comfort Iron Pads?

Are these allowed in dressage competition:

And why we're on the subject, are jointed stirrups allowed? Composite stirrups? Any color restraints?

The rule book (as far as I can tell) just says "English-style stirrups, without attachments, or safety stirrups are compulsory". What exactly are they referring to when they say "attachment"? I also hope I didn't just scroll over some additional rules...

I'm pretty sure these pad are allowed in the Dressage Ring. I know Nebraska Dressage Association allows them and they usually follow USEF guidlines. I don't think there are color guidelines anymore as they are starting to be more lax with color including coat color these days but I would stick to the more conservative as some judges don't like the modern guidelines on color.

As for jointed, I have seen people use them here, but I really don't know the real ruling as I don't like them. I had some hinged because I thought it would help the arthritis in my ankles but they hurt worse and they just through me forward. I think they would be great for hunt seat, but I think they destroy one's seat for dressage.
