Oh no! What happened to his ear! My horse lost the tip of his ear in a paddock fight. Im not ashamed to say that I edit back in with Photoshop before I print off pictures. :)

Back in september, he came into his stall fine, and at night they found him with his ear hanging down by his eye. No blood in the stall, nothing sharp that we could find (and we went over it with a metal detector!). 43 sutures later, and a piece of leather shoe insole sewed in to keep it up and give it some stability... but its quite crooked now, lost the top, and still flops a bit when I ride, particularly at the canter.
You can see the real difference here:

But it's actually grown on me . It suits his personality

YAY! I was going to go watch but I didn't, I heard Patty did really well too!!
If you saw the horse Luna go, that horse is from the same breeder as mine, and Cheryl is the woman that owns the barn my horse is at.
GOOD JOB! And I better see you at the end of the month at the Anderson CAADA show!!!!!!

That is so cool that you got to ride on John Anderson's property! Did you get to see Superman at all? Was he around?

hrmm...what level was she in? I only saw the training/1st level classes because I ended up trailering some horses home. Patty did so well! Got a 70% with her mare, but erin did extremely well. 74%!

And yes, I will be at the CA/ADA show still doing training level, cause im a total chicken **** and STILL don't have the sitting trot well enough for my peace of mind, but I think it'll be good. I might bring costa by for one day, just to ride him around the show grounds

Wow! That is totally Coool! Good job!
We had a show at our Barn a few weeks ago and they had to move it inside because it just rained here to much to have it outside. Since I can't ride or show right now I was the gate steward (sp) At least the riders had a small area to warm up in. Some breaks in the rain did allow others to warm up outside.
I love the little ear :)
Your horse is very beautiful and you both look good together!!!
