Too much rein in free walk???

    I would have executed it to long rein with very very light contact.

    The problem is in what the judge wrote as it can be taken either as too much rein=being too much rein contact...OR too much rein GIVEN.

    Since the OP stated they rode on a loose rein we must assume the OP GAVE too much rein and the judge was looking for LONG rein contact.

    The very best thing would have gone to the judge for clarification. As long as the OP approaches the judge for clarification and not in an accusation type of way the judge should be able to clarify.
