Question Vicki Kelley

So I live near Vicki Kelley's farm, and she has a working student program. Where you basically take care of the horses, and work with them at shows, and in exchange you ride FEI horses and get lessons. This is a wonderful opportunity in my point of view, because I either want to do Dressage or Eventing (focus on jumping after college) when I grow up. I'm currently a Hunter and I've been working flat for the last three years, and have jumped at least ten times. But since flat work and dressage are kinda the same thing, it's my cup of tea. And this just might be a perfect opportunity to help me. However I don't know much about her, and she seems really good. I just want all of your opinions on her and this opportunity, since you all problem know more about the Dressage world then me.

I am an intern at a farm like that and it is awesome! I am living my dream. However, it is not for all people. So I'd say to check it out, ride with her numerous times, make sure you click and can work together. And ask for references. The farm I'm at gave me all the contacts of their previous interns and I was able to talk to them about their experience and make my decision based on what they said since the farm was too far away for me to visit. I have never regretted it and I wish you well in your horsey endeavors!
