    We are making progress *video*

Here's a video of Leo and I last Saturday. We are far from perfect yet, and it wasn't one of our most brilliant rides either, but we are making visible progress. He is such a joy to ride and be around.

We started seriously training dressage in January, before that he had about two years off with his previous owner.

I feel so happy and thankful to have this guy in my life.

Beautiful horse and wonderful riding :) I haven't gotten that far yet in Dressage. We're still working on leg yields and canter.

    Very blingy horse!

Ok, your shoulder in and haunches in are looking more like leg yield on a straight line. You need to get the horse bent further around your inside leg, and ride the movement with your seat, rather than hand, which is creating some head tilt and crookedness.

Thanks for your input - working on it :).
We went from "getting bucked off and breaking my hand" last summer to this today. We still have ways to go, me as a rider more than him, but we'll get there.

He seems like a really nice horse, best of luck with him :)

Way better than I can do!
    You guys look good
Does he have a star on his left shoulder? I only saw a few glimpses, but I love his markings(:

Thanks. And yes, he does. His mom was a paint and he's registered as a pinto. He has that white patch on his left shoulder, a bigger one on the right side of the neck and some white on his bum.
