Really, why is that? Just curious Tall boots are a must at shows here, except for little kids, or olderish kids in beginning divisions (example... I was a scrawny kid so I was fine b/c I did small classes, no medals or anything)

I'm not actually sure why that is, it's just one of the rules the EFA (equestrian federation of australia) have, unless you're riding at a championship event or riding FEI.
Pony club is apparently 21 years old as well.
Better to be safe than sorry, and just wear joddy boots for a PC competition, rules are different all over the wolrd, so take advice on dress code from an Aussie not someone from overseas, the rules are very different!

I checked up the rules and asked some girls from Gumdale, it use to be 17, then 13 in offical, now anyone can wear them.

Is that for PC? Because I know the EFA does not allow tall boots in official dressage competition until 18 unless as above, you are riding at a championship event or similar.

    Chinga..
    Ya.
    How exciting. Practice practice practice....
Don't forget to do a little something fun inbetween the practice to break things up a bit.
    All the best.
    Can't wait for the day!

All of our riding has been rained out, but hopefully on the 2nd I'll get some training in with my eventing trainer.
