I recently purchased a passier optimum! The saddle is amazing, fits me perfectly....I was planning on trying a bates isabel however, the saddle fitter advised me with my long legs the only thing she would recommend was a passier....A little out of my original price range but well worth the money. (I ended up getting a used one but still almost 2k!) After my recent experience I would strongly recommend to anyone to go to a tack shop with tons of new and used saddles and sit in them all! Even if your not in the market for a new saddle it gives you a chance to see how every saddle effects how you sit and feel! Any way I love my new passier optimum strongly recomend it
I ride in a wintec isabelle and it is incredable. I would not want another saddle. It is built for a woman and it has the stirrups an inch or further back so that your leg is in the correct position. It has done wonders for my position. I looked at many many saddles to buy before finding this one and none of them really felt right. Plus the price is right as well not terrble expensive :) I would reccomend this for any dressage rider. And for those people who do not like synthetic saddles there is a bates brand of the same exact saddle (of course a little more expensive) but im sure just as amazing!
I've been riding in a used Kieffer Munchen that I really like. I have a Courbette Dressage Saddle that I liked, but it doesn't fit my odd shaped horse, so I bought the Kieffer just for him.
I also have a Crosby Lexington All Purpose that I've had for years that I like.
