Will get pics/vid up but got some fantastic cadenced passage today and some suppling work with the piaffe. As well the ones are somehow magically coming much easier. Lots of HP in the canter warm up seems to be the trick! Thinking I will be at 10-11 by December. Then two clinics and then prep for show season starts up. If I am still sitting on the horse, might be worth it to try for an I2 in Feb.

The little squirt is coming off his time off tomorrow if he is ok to work and not cough (poor little guy). Going to leave the changes for a moment and get him going more in the short work, start some pirouette exercises and maybe with some more strengthening the changes will be less leapy? One can hope!

Good luck to everyone! Really we are all working towards the same goal of having harmony with our horses :)

Anebel good luck with Rowan's sale - if he's getting ones though you shouldn't have too many dramas selling him. At least in Aus, there are not many horses at that level for sale - usually they sell at I1 because the changes and piaffe just won't happen. Anything that is fairly young, sound and FEI sells for about the price of a good house!

How old is the little bloke now? Sounds like he is coming along beautifully.

6 coming 7 next year and 14 mos undersaddle. So he'll be 8 in the Pan Am year and I don't think will have an issue with the St G/I1.

Here's hoping. Unfortunately with the proximity to Europe and current prices our FEI horses are a bit tougher to sell, and I'm looking for a good fit. Plus I don't mind sitting on the horse all winter! So we will see!

Here's some photos. Couldn't pull any of the passage off the video because it was all on the wall and as much as he has a nice bum you can't really see much :P

Anebel, looks like you had a fabulous time at the clinic. I'm so jealous! XD

The sensitivity of the internet baffles me.

Now I'm working on keeping my back and core strong during 2 temi changes and full canter pirouettes. I was doing really good for awhile but now getting back on my little mare I forgot what a jackhammer she is! Very excited to see what next year holds for us.

He has matured beautifully! I'm assuming you've taken possession from your poor mother? :P
