Driving photos Arabins and others...

I have been driving for many years, I used to own & operate a Horsedrawn carriage service, specializing in Weddings, when I first started, I used Draft Horses ( I had a beautiful Belgian Gelding Beau ) then I began buying Standardbreds that were destined for slaughter, they became my best carriage horses, Arabians & Standardbreds are my FAVORITE breeds

This is my Arabian Stallion Spirit Thyme, I show him in both Carriage Driving ...

...& Country Pleasure Driving, he also enjoys driving out in the country just for fun

Here is Beau, my Belgian Draft

I took this photo of "Boss" one of my STB's when I drove in Old Sacramento

This is "Trooper", he was rescued from a kill lot

This is Spicy Romance, another Standardbred, she was my favorite mare, very pretty looked like a Morgan ;) This photo was on Valentines Day, I had a gentleman hire me so he could propose to his girlfriend ( she said YES )

This is us doing a Wedding, I took this photo off of my ( very old ) website...

Another Wedding

Please share YOUR driving photos !!!

Gosh I wish I could drive again! I used to drive Saddlebreds in pleasure driving and it was SUCH fun. There was a time where I prefered to drive...I probably would get right back to that if I could find a decent driving horse! LOL

None of mine... why would they do that ? ;) Seriously, I have trained MANY driving horses and kicking has never been an issue, I worry more about a horse that rears.

I have pix of me driving a team of Percherons, I used to do "hay rides" during the fall, the wagon could carry 60 people ! I have to scan them tho, they are prints :(

I also drove a stagecoach during Frontier days in Old Sacramento with 6 Standardbreds, that was fun !

I love your Draft pix !
