Talking Fit and Adjustments to cart and harness please

So we hitched my Arabian to the cart yesterday. My friend was out there so she was able to take some pictures. Can anyone help me with cart adjustments and any adjustments needed to the harness? Just want to make sure it is sitting right. The shafts are a bit wide and long for him, but he doesn't seem to be uncomfortable with them and the height seems about right. I believe that is the lowest hole on the tugs, so the shafts can't sit any lower (though I guess I could punch a hole in my new harness *gasp*). All advise appreciated.

Hold-back straps are not on in that picture. It was his first time to drive to the cart, so I wanted fewer things to unhook should something go wrong. They will be there in the future.

One more, just because he's so darn content with the whole ordeal.
Overall I was really proud of him, you may no be able to see it through the computer screen, but this is my happy dance! I have a driving pony that could really do CDE with me!
