How can I get into driving and what do I need?

Hi everyone!

I am super interested in driving horses and am very eager to learn how. However, I have no idea how to get into it! Does anybody have any advice for me? And what do I need, harness wise and stuff?
Also, I have had a look around in my area for people who do know how to drive horses, and sadly there is pretty much no one Can I still learn how to drive without being taught by someone?

Hands on is always best. Try looking up the American Driving Society web sight. There may be a club in your state that can help you find a mentor/instructor
