In love!

This thread could also go in the miniature horse section, but I am in LOVE with this new concept. Years ago I bred show miniature horses and did a lot of training. I sold many miniatures who ended up showing at a local A rated mini shows, and they all did very well.

I have hip dysplasia which unfortunately even with major surgery(14 operations), I have limited time on horseback before I have to go thru 2 hip replacements and look into other venues to fill my passion for horses(Im 28 yrs old).

I had the chance to watch some miniature horse driving competitions at the Calgary Stampede and FELL IN LOVE with that type of showing. I have to admit I am seriously looking into this for when the time comes and I decide to permanently stop riding to preserve my hips.

Driving miniatures is addicting xD I drive my mini mare Sour, and its probably the most relaxing thing ever. I don't show at all, but I have a few friends who do and they love it!

Green Broke
Go for it!!

I had a friend, I met through driving, that had bone cancer and could no longer ride, as she lost one of her legs above the knee. She taught her pony to drive and enjoyed him for many more years.
