Team driving

This was taken Saturday at the Piedmont Horse Expo we have been asked to attend and give a demonstration for the 3rd year in a row. After a really rocky morning and being "rescued" by a fantastic person, we made it to our time slot, and wowed the crowd.

Trixie and Smoke acted perfect, a bit high headed at first, but quickly settled down once we began to harness them. The crowd asked a lot of questions, all were interested in each mare, and many noticed how Trixie seems to be very laid back as nothing bothers her while Smoke is always paying attention to me and the next command.

Here we are in the fore cart, I was looking back listening to my husband while doing a figure 8 in the arena:

If we get back again next year, which I am pretty sure we will be, were going to add log pulling around a small obstacle course, along with the harnessing....something new and different.
